I love a chance to photograph high school seniors. They are coachable, approachable, and it sure beats chasing around a 3-year-old trying to create that magic shot! So, when mom approached me about photographing these two together, I was thrilled!
We had a pretty typical Michigan morning-gray, flat, cloudy skies. But, we made it work with a rich, warm wardrobe! Plus, her smile brightens up every photo! I love her look and her choice of all colors was perfect. I especially love her shoes. Sometimes we forget about footwear when planning our session wardrobe. But, check out how critical it is in shot #3!
With the boyfriend heading off to boot camp, I knew these pictures should be extra special. I used a lot of my poses and tricks that I use when shooting engaged or married couples, even though they are neither! Pretty light, great hair, and her killer eyes make these some of my favorites in 2015!
