Congratulations! You made it! This is a momentous occasion as you get ready to hand off your child into the world of higher education or advanced career training. It’s the last time you can force them to take pictures for you! This moment is as much for you as it is for them, but I love including them in the styling and design of their session.

What to Know About Senior Portraits
I answer all your questions about Senior Photo Sessions…
What if my teen hates having their picture taken?
No problem. I shoot fast and keep everyone moving.
Can my teen wear casual clothes for senior portraits?
aka…What if your teen only wants to wear camo or joggers? I get it. I have one of those myself. We can chat about wardrobe, but I have a “come as you are” wardrobe philosophy. Ripped jeans and camo tees and all. This moment, like all other rites of passage before it, should be as authentic as possible.
Do you offer hair and makeup for senior portraits?
I have some great partners to help you out. It’s a great opportunity to let you teen know how important they are by getting a fresh hairstyle and exploring all the options for instagram worthy gowns, even if you don’t plan on posting anything on social media!
Where do you shoot senior portraits in Northville?
I have some AMAZING locations in the Metro Detroit area. Want to climb rocks? Feel like a queen in an enchanted forest? Practice some herbology in an historic greenhouse? I’ve got amazing nature-filled spots for your session. I’m also available to meet you at home, among the lego sets, robots, art supplies, and game controllers. Do you have simple senior portrait packages?
Listen, sometimes you don’t need three hours and five locations and seven wardrobe changes. My sessions are designed to allow you to decide what you need. My Simple Session is perfect for you!
What products are available for senior portraits?
Do you need albums, prints, and more? 100% you do. I have some great options available for purchase after you select your favorite pictures. Professional prints, wallets, folio boxes with matted prints, and the “Celebration” album where we combine notes of encouragement from family and friends with your graduate’s photos. I can even help with wall art design.
How do I choose a senior portrait package?
Choosing between packages can feel overwhelming when you’re not sure what you need. Here’s my recommendation: Need a couple of pictures for yourself and Grandma, the Simple Session is perfect. 30 minutes. One outfit. One of my favorite locations. 7 digital images to choose from your online gallery. If you want more variety, my Signature Session is the full experience with different looks, specialty locations, and the opportunity to let your personality shine!
