Wow, just wow! I could not have asked for a more perfect newborn photography session or more fabulous, relaxed parents! This South Lyon couple waited a long time for this beautiful moment. After several rounds of invitro, this couple finally got their dream: a sweet new baby boy! He is sooooooo cute! I loved photographing his sweet smiles, cute little cheeks, and fabulous tiny toes. He fell asleep right away for me and made my job sooooo easy! Mom and Dad looked pretty relaxed for new parents. They were comfortable, easy to talk to, and have such a gentle sweet way with their new baby.
Let me start by saying just how wonderful their stylish nursery is! Obviously, my Disney lovin’ heart went crazy for the Winnie the Pooh theme and the simple, but oh-so-elegant touches in this modern and fresh nursery. The neutral color palette and chevron theme makes everything seem so fresh and new, just like this baby! I especially love the little wall sign mom found on etsy!
In addition to my must-take portraits of the newborn, I had a chance to incorporate their brand new radio flyer wagon (sweet!) and take some more lifestyle shots of the family in the nursery together. I love these moments and even included a few for you to see here. I love mom swaddling her babe and quietly comforting him. She is a natural. Dad had a turn too and he was very relaxed with something so tiny!
I wanted to add a few more Disney touches to this session, since these new parents were wed at Disney, announced their pregnancy using Mickey ears, and already have his first trip planned for next fall!!! So, I added my own flair with a Peter Pan inspired set that whisked us away to Neverland. As if this cute face didn’t already have us saying “Never Grow Up!”
I can’t wait to see these parents in a few months and capture some nine month milestones. This babe is clearly in loving arms!
