Outdoor Holiday Sessions – Livonia Photographer
The air is crisper or should I just say, downright cold, and the trees are bare and we are heading into that wintry and festive holiday season! I can’t wait to photograph your family at one of my favorite places. Even if it’s cold. Even if it’s snowing. It’s going to be fantastic! Unless it’s actually raining, we’ll move forward with your session! So, grab a coat, your winter vest, fuzzy hats and gloves, and get ready!
Styling for an outdoor session in late November is always tricky, but I went with some nice long layers and some sharp looking outer layers to create textured looks. To coordinate my people, I used similar style hats to bring this together even though these girls have very different styles. And, you’ll notice, I pretty much just let them be who they are!! YES, your pictures would look better if everyone were coordinating, but at the end of the day, I’d rather let them express themselves in their clothes than argue about what to wear. So, use these two outfit styles as a jumping off point for your own holiday wardrobe, whether it’s a fuzzy sweatshirt and tutu skirt or denim and a puffy vest.
