There’s something about siblings…they are amazing to watch. They are always so in love with the newness. And, these fabulous family was no different.
Their gorgeous Plymouth, MI home was perfect for our newborn lifestyle session. Pretty light and great windows are a photographers dream. They were also up for anything and I enjoyed getting to know them and their playful sense of humor. They put an “evicted” sign on the playroom door to announce the new baby! These two older siblings were creative, funny, warm, and simply delightful. I think that this baby photo shoot ended up with the most family images that I’ve ever included in a session. Everyone was so engaged. The whole family was great to be with and they were up for anything!
We also had this sweet baby boy that fell asleep and went along with anything we did. But, my favorite images are the collaborative ones. We got to talking and I found out that this family LOVES Mo Willem’s books! If you haven’t heard of his books, you are in for a treat! The popular pigeon and also elephant & piggie series are a hit with kids. So, together with big brother and big sister, we designed a little photo that came out perfectly.
I treasure time with families during this beginning. It is such a privilege to be welcomed into their home to take their pictures and share in their life. I love how much I smile while I’m editing because they turn out SO GREAT and also because families are SO AWESOME!
