I knew something magical would happen when I opened the door and spotted these sweet Christmas sisters, two girls in red dresses, looking amazing! My daughters call this look “twinning!”
They actually squeezed me in the night before they left on a cruise and I’m so glad that they did. Their electric smiles would brighten up any camera. They are beautiful, gorgeous, and I felt like Santa himself might show up at any moment.
I absolutely LOVE the styling that mama did here. Fur trimmed dresses are timeless and classic. The white bows are a nice pop. Any department store will have matching or coordinating dresses that are a step up from your local big box store and worth the investment at this time of year. Sometimes footwear becomes an after thought, but the right shoe can make the difference! Just think about what it did for Cinderella! 🙂 The red boots add some whimsy and a finishing touch. Of course they brought their best smiles too! A simple bobby-pin or clip to keep hair away from the face also makes those smiles shine bright! Make a note for your next session!
For this season I kept the colors rustic, bringing in elements of texture with sticks and burlap. My designer added lots of fresh greener to give ordinary store-bought artificial garland an extra dressing up.
I loved chatting with these two girls and when I teasingly called them by the wrong names, substituting princess names instead, they just giggled at me.
