Flower Farm Mini Sessions – Metro Detroit

As the Summer light softens and the air cools off (sometimes), at this flower farm location the wildflowers are doing exactly what they do best, put on their best, most colorful show of the year just in time for your family photos! If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to get your people in front of my lens, this is it.

Lots of flowers, but also beautiful vignettes will quickly make this your favorite place to unwind and have your photographer along too. The mini greenhouse, custom built for this location, is decorated inside and out, the hilltop view is divine, and the vintage truck makes a variety of photos possible. I personally love the column of trees that gives this dirt-road location a magical look.

These Flower Farm Mini Sessions are designed to be quick, joyful, and totally low stress. 20 minutes is just enough time to get real laughter, real connection, and real family moments without anyone (especially Dad!) getting bored or overwhelmed. We’ll wander through the flowers, go exploring, and look for frogs in the very tiny frog pond. We’ll capture images that feel like your family enjoying the very best of what Michigan has to offer! Nature, flowers, big skies, and enchanting landscapes.

These mini sessions work great for immediate families with kids or all ages. So, please bring your obstinate two-year-olds (we let them do their thing and I shoot around it!) and your surly teens (I tell truly terrible jokes that get them laughing). If you’re picturing a larger crew (grandparents, cousins, the whole extended family) or a senior session, I’d still love to work with you!
