When this mama came to me with an idea for her fall family photography project, I nearly jumped with glee. If you know me, you’d know that’s NOT an exaggeration because I love anything THEMED. So, her fabulous idea for a “red riding hood” photo session in the forest was a perfect fit for me. Mom styled her children so sweetly, complete with a little red cape and the wolf had furry ears! We enjoyed our time in the woods. Just being outside makes everyone happy. I love how every photo shoot takes on a life of its own as I photograph different personalities and people. Everyone brings something different to their images and I strive to capture that authentic personality on camera.
I’ve photographed this family before and we love to talk about pokemon, video games, and silly shows we watch on TV. I always love seeing them, but they are starting to make me feel old! Like my own children, I’ve watched their littlest grow into a talkative, emotional person, and move beyond that energetic toddler phase.
What sweet personalities are hiding inside your children? What storybooks inspire you? So much about this photography session was amazing! I especially the family group pictures; one is featured at the top here. I love the way all these kids are running straight towards the parents and that sweet girl just does her own thing for a minute. That is life though? Right? Kids who do their own thing? That beautiful moment is brought to you by the word pickle. Want to know why? You’ll have to book a session to find out.
This beautiful location is centrally located in the Metro Detroit area. I bet your family would look great here too!
