Easter Mini Sessions – Northville Photographer – Welcome Spring!

Spring Mini Photo Sessions – 2025

This year’s spring photoshoot is taking place a new location with beautiful flowers, my giant stick bunny (it’s cuter than it sounds!) at a cozy and warm location because even if it’s spring, you never know what the weather will be in Metro Detroit!

Saturday, April 12 – Plymouth, MI – Studio Neue

Studio Neue will be beautifully decorated with floral arrangements by Lee Floral Designs! The set is clean, bright, and minimalist.

3:40 – 5:20 – 5 spots available!

5 full res, edited digital images, chosen by you from your online gallery
20 minute sessions
additional images available as well!

You’ll love my fun, casual style that brings out natural smiles and expressions. My sets inspire imagination and engagement! When weather permits and the windows are bright and sunny, I shoot with natural light for creamy skin tones and dreamy images. If it’s cloudy, don’t worry. I got you covered with beautifully even studio light for beautiful pictures of your favorite people!

Put on your finest Easter clothes, bring your Easter baskets, and come celebrate this beautiful season with me!

What should I wear for Spring Mini Sessions?

Checks and plaids, spring patterns, and bunny dresses are perfect for these colorful mini sessions.  Little jackets or sweaters add to the occasion.  You can be formal or fun with my playful.  Don’t forget to consider shoes and tights if necessary or you can go for a barefoot look or even fun rain boots!  But, please leave the tennis shoes at home!

    What is your photo style?

You’ll love my true-to-life skin tones, even lighting, and authentic poses.

What age children are best suited for mini sessions?

Mini sessions can work well for children of all ages, but they’re particularly ideal for children aged 3 and older who can follow basic directions and engage for short periods. Toddlers (ages 2-3) can also do well in mini sessions, especially if they’re generally cooperative and have had some practice with photos before. I shoot fast and try to keep them engaged to capture natural expressions! Most of my sample images (above) are with toddlers!

For babies under 12 months and young toddlers who need more time to warm up or take breaks, a full session might be more suitable. This gives us extra time to work with their natural rhythms and capture those perfect moments without feeling rushed.

I’m happy to discuss whether a full session might better suit your needs and get you on the calendar!

Remember, every child is unique, and I’m experienced in working with all age groups. We can discuss your children’s specific personalities during booking to ensure we choose the best session type for your family.

Can we include our pet in the spring mini session?

I know your fur friends (or reptiles!) are like members of the family. Unfortunately, there are no pets allowed at this location! Most outdoor sessions can include pets! Contact me for details!

How far in advance should I book a spring mini session?

As SOON as you can! I expect these sessions will sell out long before the date!

What makes spring mini sessions special compared to other seasons?

While most of the year we are romping in a golden field, Spring Sessions feature beautiful flowers and take place indoors. These are perfect for Baby Milestones, Feminine Headshots, and anyone with a love for pastels!

What’s included in a spring photoshoot?

Great question! My time & talent, your rental fee for the location, decor & props, session time, and 5 full res, edited digital images, chosen by you from your online gallery!
