Holidays at Home Photo Session Experience
The Holidays at Home Experience is an intimate, in-home photo session designed to capture the beauty, wonder, and warmth of your holiday season right in front of your own Christmas tree for Metro Detroit Families including: South Lyon, Northville, Novi, Canton, Livonia, Royal Oak, Farmington, Ann Arbor, and Beyond.
There’s something magical about that Christmas tree. All the lights reflecting off the sparkly ornaments, lighting up the room the tree lighting the room with its cozy glow, the warmth that fills your living room when the world outside feels still. I love this Christmas tree magic and usually spend at least one night sleeping on the couch to drift away to dreamland in its glow!.

THE EXPERIENCE
When I arrive, I’ll help bring your space to life, adding subtle touches that complete your scene. It may be extra lighting to your tree, placing a few extra holiday touches like wrapped boxes, or adjusting the room for the most beautiful light. Once everything glows just right, we’ll capture your family surrounded by the sparkle and joy of your own home.
Each session lasts about 30 minutes and is designed for children. Depending on your desired look, these sessions can be photographed day or night and can include your pets!

Because the most magical memories are made at home…
Any holiday favorites will do, from fancy dresses to flannels & plaids, pajamas are also a great choice here! I personally love sparkly dresses for girls and a cozy button down for boys. Families with younger children could lean into a “classic Christmas” look with nightgowns and flannel pajamas.
For the most magical tree light, book an evening session. For younger children and pets, book a daytime session. You’ll still have incredible pictures, but the natural light gives us more options for active members of the family!
I’ll send you a short guide with simple tips for preparing your space. Clearing clutter, decorating your tree, and putting some wrapped boxes (they don’t even have to be real gifts!) under the tree are a great place to start.
Your online gallery will be ready within a few days of your session. From there, you’ll select your favorite five portraits for meticulous, hand-edited retouching, every detail refined with care to create that luminous, signature finish. Additional images are available for purchase if you’d like to expand your collection. All final images will be delivered by Christmas Eve, perfectly timed to enjoy and share during the holidays.
Don’t worry! Sessions are relaxed and magical. I’ll guide your children with gentle direction as they show me the tree, point out their favorite ornaments and maybe even play “I spy” for something I’ve hidden in the tree!
