I am only about 10 days away from sending my youngest child to Kindergarten, but these South Lyon parents are just 4 months into life with their new son. After a difficult season of trying to conceive – that you can read about at their newborn photography session – they were finally blessed with this sweet, cute, son! I consider it the greatest compliment when I get invited back into someone’s life again and again. I loved having the opportunity to photograph this family a second time.
When he wasn’t staring at me, he loves to look at Dad, laugh along to silly songs, and smile a lot during Pat-a-cake! There’s always one song that gets those smiles to pop out and that was THE ONE! 🙂
Parenthood is a long journey with many seasons. I’m going through one right now, that transition from kids at home to kids at school. These parents are experiencing changes every day. I’m rooting for all my clients to make it through with joy and grace and laughter!
So, for this season, for four-month-old photos, we worked hard to get those heart-melting smiles and capture some family time together. I am in love with this mama and her gentle way with this baby. Dad is so good with him too! I am always learning things from my clients and this couple is no exception. I love watching this family of three together. They remind me to take it slow, relax, and enjoy!
