While this theme is new to my studio (and close to my heart!), I’m no stranger to creating magical worlds. Creative designs + magical dresses bring worlds we can only imagine to life, even for a brief moment, letting us soak up their energy and inspire our soul. So here’s the thing. I’ve got the professional experience and accolades to take great pictures, but I’m also living your life right now. My girls are in that beautiful, yet transformative age and I’m watching time slip away. I know what it would mean for my Elphaba-loving daughter to put on these gowns and slip away into this magical world where even the perpetually green can find a place to belong. I’m ready to meet your own girl right where she is in this moment too.

….I shoot with a Nikon d750 and refuse to go mirrorless because this SLR feels like it has more of a soul

Frequently Asked Questions about Teen Empowerment Photo Shoots
This is a limited one-weekend only experience- December 13 – as these dresses are traveling the country! We hope to offer more themed sessions in the future. If you’re on the fence, get on the list so you don’t miss it!
These sessions are designed for girls age 8-16, the in-between years where confidence blooms and self-image takes shape. It’s perfect for tweens, early teens, and anyone going through that becoming stage. But, please contact me if younger or older siblings want to be included.
Yes! After all, Elphaba needs her Glinda! You can add a sibling or bestie for $350. This adds 15-20 minutes of shooting time and includes 5 extra images. We’ll include shared + individual poses.
Natural, age-appropriate, Hair & Makeup is available as an add-on for $75 per person and scheduled before your sessions time so you get all your photo shooting time. It’s completely optional, but highly recommended to not only polish off the look, but the experience! We are so excited to be offering this in our studio for the first time!
A gorgeous studio space in Northville, Michigan. An easy drive for friends in Metro Detroit, including: Livonia, Grand Rapids. Royal Oak, Birmingham, Farmington Hills, South Lyon, Novi, Plymouth, and Ann Arbor. It’s also easy to access from the highway for families in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
All our gowns have an adjustable corset back and will fit girls size 8 – women’s small. However, if your daughter falls outside this range, please contact me. We will make sure she has something absolutely magical to wear!
