A new baby is always sweet and celebrating that baby with an in-home newborn photography session is a great way to start your life together.

I met this family in their own home, surrounded by toys, pets, and video game controllers.  To me, your mess is magical, a beautiful reflection of this moment in time.  I’ve been photographing this family for a long time and was thrilled when they invited me to create art with them again.

Siblings and newborn photo sessions are always sweet and always a wild card!  But, this big brother did a great job counting all of baby’s fingers and toes.

You’ll love the variety of modern blankets I bring for swaddling.  Since I believe that heirlooms and traditions are important to the fabric (literally!) of our family stories you’ll select a favorite for your session that is yours to keep.

As always, the flow of this session is very casual and while I work to get all the best poses and pictures, I also make time for reading books, feeding the baby, checking out big brother’s bedroom, meeting all the stuffed friends, and telling your pets how sweet they are.  This is a time for you to breathe for a minute, soak in your family, and a moment for us to become friends for life!

I want to be your photographer for life.  A best friend with a camera.  A gentle spirit that can breeze into your life, take your children by the hand and tell silly jokes that don’t really make sense.  I’ll be there to compliment your gorgeous top, tell your husband he’s lucky to have you, and all laugh together about whatever sports team/movie/TV show we just watched.

The best time to become friends for life is right now today!  Take a peek through this session and then look at all my newborn session info and contact me to book a session for yourself!
